Have been looking at the gaming cases on here for the past hour or so, but looking at pictures isn't the same as owning and using one. I currently have the Antec 300 case, its a good case but my GTX 670 barely fits in and I'm not totally blown away by the cable management in it (it has none).

Would I be looking for a full tower case? As the Antec 300 is a midi tower.

Who are considered the best manufacturers? (I get the impression that Lian Li are pretty good)

Probably looking at the £50 - £100 price range

Good cable management compartment and room for my GTX 670, motherboard is in my sig, also, how do you tell if your motherboard will fit in a particular case?

not after cases with windows and lights and stuff like that, just black, professional looking and stylish

sorry for all the Q's! still on a bit of a learning curve here!

Thanks for reading :D

The motherboard is a certain size e.g. ATX or E-ATX , cases will specify what they can hold. your board is probably ATX.

You don't need a full tower.

For professional and stylish looking, I'd say you should look at a Fractal Design Define R4. It is also virtually silent, because of noise dampening. There's also a windowed version available now.

this looks nice, my current Antec 300 case has the HDD cables facing towards the Motherboard in this case the HDD trays appear to face out of the case, wont the HDD cables be hard up against the side panel? I cant imagine it being a massive issue as I see it in a lot of cases. Unfortunately black isn't available on OcUK and the grey one is out of stock :(

OcUK don't stock Fractal Design stuff anymore I think.
There's a inch behind the back panel for cable routing, so no the cables won't be against it :)
