Looking for some help

I currently have 2meg Broadband via a USB modem.

I have an Xbox 360 and a new laptop with wireless built in.

I am looking for the cheapest option to use my laptop around the house on the net via the wireless connection. I would prefer to have the xbox and pc run via cable seeing as they will never move.

Router and wireless AP or combined wireless router, and some wireless device for the laptop, if it doesn't already have one.
Netgear DG834G being a fairly well-liked example, if you're on ADSL.
