Hi All

Im looking to buy and build a new PC next week, the details are as follows

So far I have

Monitor - Samsung 22" LCD

Keyboard & Mouse - Logitec S520

Speakers - Creative T20

OS - Windows 7
So now I just need the actual system and case

The budget is £400

Its used SOLEY for internet browsing/downloading large files/watching movies in 1080p/Word prosessing

Can someone help by showing me componants within that budget to suit the objective of the machine. I have the ability to put it all together just not get the correct components without help and advice.

As Im new to the forum I know its a little cheeky to just ask for help without any posts, so as a bit of a 'reward' I will paypal £5 to whoevers machine I buy (I will screenshot my order to show)

I would prefer to buy all from Overclockers

Thanks

Hey, welcome to the forums. Just a word of advice, links to competitors aren't allowed so I'd get rid of them in your post before someone gets mad :p

Was thinking of something like this, delivery takes it £15 over budget and I was basing it off a OCuK bundle

Not going to run games, but should do 1080p film with easy, what do other ocukers think?

Hi
I wouldnt mind going a few pounds over budget.

Like I said before Im a novice to this, but was wondering what are the benefits to having a dedicated graphics card like you posted against an on board one?

Doh disk drive, changed it a by using cheaper memory, here we go:

I also noted input posted a cooler but sir-les hasnt. Wouldnt a cooler be an essential part?

He has chose a retail chip and mine is OEM so needs a cooler, you might get a little overclock out of my setup if you want in the future as well.

Make your choice of case as well, coolermaster one is a good one in your budget as well.

For 1080p I would stay away from on board graphic, it can be quiet demanding at times.

Im not going to overclock it, thats a given.

I'll leave this till Tomorrow evening then buy one of the setups given (unless there are any other suggestions) If not one of you two will be sent a little reward for your helpfulness :)
