Looking for some xmas project ideas

Over the last few years, I've built a media center, automated my house light and appliance electric fittings with an x10 network and created a 6TB raid server in the garage.

Now I'm thinking of some ideas for a project that will keep me entertained during the xmas break.

Ideas on my list so far:

- IP network camera connected to my media center and a x10 front door latch. (i.e. haven't thought this through fully yet, but the idea is the postman rings doorbell, I receive text message letting me know and check IP camera from work to confirm, send signal to unlock door, postman leaves parcel inside and relocks the door)

- Automated system to re-encode TV recordings such that I can stream them to my mobile when I'm away from home.

Any other worthy contenders?
 
I really like the Front door idea, something that could go into market ( or atleast i would buy ) Unless you have already done it, i would recommend connected everything to one system and creating a power-panel to control all/most of your house. Eg. Lights, heating, doors.
 
Had thought about moving the x10 to the distribution panel, however I've got my house up for sale ATM, so it's something I'll look into when I move.
