I've seen it posted here, in OcUK, a few times. Basically it performs benchmarks, using different chunk sizes (ie: 16kb, 32kb...4mb etc).

I have used it before, and I probably have it in my download folder - but with no name that gives me a clue. :p:o

I just want the name of the software, or any other software, which can perform the said benchmark with different chunk sizes, under XP.

When I say benchmarks, I mean disk benchmarks - it read/writes/whatever certain chunk sizes to the disk, and tells you which is the best performing by means of a bar graph.

Sandra does it IIRC :)
Not sure - I do recall Sandra being a massive download, though. I believe the program I had in mind was less than 500K in size, and was a standalone EXE - possibly it had help and configuration files in the same directory.

Why didn't you mention that it was for disk?

Try Atto disk benchmark.

He did. He said in an earlier post "disk benchmarks". I was just thinking he could give Atto disk benchmark a tryout. It might be what he's looking for.;)

*Edit* Damn you basmic. Too quick for me.
Got names of similar software, which will do a similar to ATTO?

It's primarily for testing a SCSI array I have in another machine (2x 9gb IBM drives).
