Looking for thoughts on monitor choice.

After looking at the 27GP850-B I thought I'd spend a bit more for the extra screen size.

Anything under £400 that might be a better shout?

Downsizing from a 43" Electriq. I'd prefer higher refresh rate and G Sync (or G Sync compatible, if there's much difference?)

Current monitor is curved, but I don't mind losing it.

Cheers, did have a look on rtings on a few monitors. Can't really see anything else that catches my eye.

Looks like a decent monitor for the price but picking a monitor can be a bit if a minefield.

Maybe youll get a few more suggestions.

yeah, I know the 27GP850-B gets praised. I did eye up the S2721DGFA but apparently colours were a bit washed out.

That 2560x1440 Nano-IPS has excellent response times for gaming.
But if you're not fan of brightly lit room, its contrast is from 15 years ago and IPS has never too good contrast even in the best case.

So myself would be looking for MSI G273QF, whose AU Optronics panel has one of the highest contrasts of IPS panels.
(like 45% better than in LG)

I have heard good things about the AU Optronics panels, I'll look at some reviews on that thanks.

Edit: Slightly leaning towards the LG 32GP850-B.

Think that'll be the one I'll go for, will see if I can get it before cut off time for delivery unless anyone else has input.

32GP850 has normal IPS level contrast.
No idea what LG is doing with that 27" panel when even their 27" 4K Nano-IPS has usual contrast.

I have LG 32GP850-B being delivered tomorrow and have seen good reviews, fingers crossed these hold out to be true.
