Looking for Trance/Ambient...

I've never been much good at keeping track of music hence why I'm asking you.

Anyway I was listening to Orbital - Halcyon and on and on the other day and it just made me want more of that "oldskool" chilled music...

So be kind and recommend me some or any good compilation albums that would be great.

I was going to suggest CD1 of ASOT 2006, very summery and laidback.

Must also recommend Orbital's Glastonbury CD, 2 CDs with highlights of all their performances at Glasto as well as a live DVD.

Not heard that one tbh, but if it's anything like 2007 it'll be awesome

Angels Chill Trance series is quite good.
I recommend buying all 3 albums, fantastic for a cold Monday morning on the way to work.

Try some sun electric,pete namlock and kruder and dorfmeister and i agree with mcwildcard the solaris ost is very cool and relaxing

If you like Orbital, you're bound to like Chicane. All their albums are good, but Behind the Sun stands out above the others.
