Hi Chaps
I am looking for some advice on an upgrade path. I am not sure weather to go SLI or a new CPU
Motherboard - ConRoe 945G-DVI
Memory - 2gig DDR2 Dual Channel
CPU - E6300
GFX - Leadtech 8800GTX
PSU - Targan 480
I know that going SLI would mean a new PSU and also a new MB. I would like to hear from people that run SLI and also quad core CPU's so that I can get a understanding of what people think of their systems
My main PC use is gaming. Games I play are Eve-Online 99% of the time, WoW (yeah I know its only every now and then) Quake War, URT3 when it comes out (Beta at the moment) and other new.
Will I get the best benefit from a faster CPU or going SLi
So my questions are
Path 1. Go the SLI path
New MB - which one
New PSU - which one
Path 2. New CPU
New CPU (Intel) & which one and would a new MB be a good idea too.
Thanks in advanced for any help.
PS I am not looking or your ideal/dream setup
