Looking for upgrade advice?

Cant really afford a whole new rig atm, was looking at the 5870, whats your views guys?

Even a 5850 would be a good upgrade, then overclock it, the rest of your system is still very good kit.

im on the same board and its a great board but i got a crappy powercolor 5770 and cant oc it so im going for a 5850 when the money comes in there is too much of a price increase to justify the 5870 when you can oc a 5850 and get similar results

TBH,unless you really need a graphics card update immediately I would wait a few weeks until the GTX470 is released and see how well this performs.

Also the HD4890 is known to be able to be overclocked to nearly 1GHZ for the core too.

Ive never overclocked a GPU, as I dont know what it would handle in the real world, any futher advice would be great.

5850 then add in another one when you upgrade your pc later on down the line, although as someone else said i'd wait for the fermi release just in case
