I am soon looking to upgrade my ageing 19" Sony and was looking at 22" as the minimum size. I have upto £220 but may push to £250 for the right kit.
I have looked at a few reviews on here and I like the look of the Viewsonic VX2260wm, HERE it also has excellent reviews.

I also like the look of the ViewSonic VP2365wb, HERE but I am not sure if the extra outlay over the VX2260wm warrants it, also the response time of this monitor is 14ms, compared to 2ms on the VX2260wm, and I believe this number is one of the more important figures flying around.

Now what do I want to do with it, well my main usage is gaming, Call of Duty 4 / Call of Duty MW2. My graphic card is an Asus ATI Radeon HD 4890 TOP 1024MB GDDR5 and I am obviously looking at utilising the HD facility of this card.

If anyone has any other recommendations instead, please add them, stating why they think it could be a better option, keeping it as simple as possible. :p

Many thanks.

*EDIT* Not worried about the speakers quality or lack of it tbh, as I only use headsets due to PC being in living room.

Hi there. Have you looked at the BenQ G2420HDBL 24" and £154.99, various threads floating around and it has a good reception ;)
If you playing on PC and do not need HDMI for cable box or games console, then the DVI would be good enough as it carries the same signals anyway (not sure if that's what you meant by "HD facility")

Also the Iiyama ProLite B2712HDS some people have and said it is a good monitor £304.99 but you can get the one down, E2710HDSD without the swivel stand for £249.99 for a 27"!
