Something like a 5570 would accelerate photoshop nicely. But if you want CUDA support a GT 440 would do the trick. 5570 would be fine on that Power Supply, unsure about the 440.

How much are you willing to spend? Also what brand is the PSU?

You could upgrade the CPU to a quad core, and maybe add a nice cheap CUDA card depending on the brand of PSU.

the psu is called pentium p4 and 400w * sorry not 450 , the bearings r going aswell i think on start up its loud untill i tap the back fan of the psu ,

psu and gcard is what ill be looking for then

aint sure how much i have £100 upto now but go upto £300 eventually :)

Your PSU is a Pentium P4? Well something doesn't sound quite right with it :p.

You can upgrade to this PSU: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-230-CM&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=

With this CUDA GPU: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-151-OK&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1402

And it comes to around £100 odd. Should help your 3D rendering times. Although depending on what 3D software you use more CPU cores might benefit as well. Looking at the CPU support list for your board with the latest BIOS is the Phenom II X4 955 95w version.

Hmm, looking at the quad core Athlons they seem to be around the same price as the 955...
