looking for USB3 PCIe card

Hi,
I am looking for a PCIe usb3 card with a couple of external usb3 and a internal 19 pin usb3 dual port connector, am I correct in thinking the card need to be operating system specific as I am running win 8.1. :eek:

but that one doesn't have a 19 pin dual usb internal output on the card though it does have a power supply to allow a bit of charging through the 2 USBs not quite what I need the internal output (19 pin dual) is more important than the two at the rear.

its just over 30quid. not that bad really.

Can't say a specific one (don't remember which) but I've used a startech one before and had absolutely no issues with it

Is the 19 pin the sort of connection usually needed for a case with USB 3.0, if your mobo doesn't have internal USB 3.0? Just curious, might need to open up my case and check as I need something similar to the above possibly

yes it is the same as what is available if your mobo supports it and have a header for it

Hmm might have to look at getting one then for my case USB 3.0 ports

I got a Startech one from the shop with exactly what you're after, but it's not on the stocklist any more... Only cost a few quid, as well.

Anker USB 3.0 2-Port PCI-E Express Card - Has 2 usb 3 port at the back and 1 internal usb 3 connector cost about 14 quid.
