As there are so many MP3 players out there, it's difficult to find anything that I really want. I am very interested in a MP3 player that has Wi-Fi support so I can browse the net using wireless at uni and other places. Only one that I have been able to find that does that is the Ipod Touch. Very nice, but I don't think I would want to pay £270+ for something like that.

So is anyone able to help?

Below are my needs:
  • High quality sound
  • Reliable (i.e. software doesn't crash every 2 seconds)
  • 4GB+ in capacity
  • Wi-Fi enabled...
  • ...with web browsing software!

Thanks :)

Hmm I've been reading up on that, and the ipod touch.

I'm quite torn between the two. The Archos 605 is slightly larger, battery life isn't brilliant, doesn't look too great, and I'll need to buy the extras to go with it (such as the browser). However I'm not locked to iTunes so I can just drag-and-drop music and use any music service, flash support, higher res screen, better sound quality, good codec support, and also a fair bit cheaper.

The ipod touch is quite a bit more expensive, locked to iTunes, no flash support from what I've read, and sound quality isn't great. But it looks a lot nicer, has multi-touch interface, nice UI, has longer battery life, and smaller.

Shame there aren't more Wi-Fi enabled players out there!
