hi
I only ever dabbled in overclocking a little with AMD systems and havent even owned anything other than them in about 8-9 yrs. Anyway I let loose with the noobishness last night on my Q6600 and woke up this morning happy to see Orthos still running after nearly 11 hrs.

My specs are an
Abit IP35 Pro
Q6600 B3 stepping
2x1GB Ballistix PC2-5300
Thermalright U-120 E with a Scythe 1600RPM fan
Xilence intake fan
Akasa Amber outake fan
Seasonic 650w PSU.

After the oc i now have a Q6600 @3006MHz voltage left alone, my 5300 Ballistix @400.8 MHz, 4, 4, 4, 12 & 2.2v and temps while running Orthos blend @ 65 on the hottest core and 58 on the coolest.
Basically I wanna check and see if this seems a good start and where improvements could be made e.g any settings in the bios, timings etc.

Looks good. The only thing I'd mention is that the difference in core temps means your HSF is not quite sitting perfectly. You might have a concave IHS on the quad or your HSF might be concave. You could try lapping them if you find your temps rising too high.

Give it a little more juice and take it higher :)
