Howdy chaps (and chapess')

I'm currently looking into purchasing a new gaming rig, in light of Hellgate London coming out very soon!

My budget is set at £350 at the moment, but I am willing to go upto £400 if the specs are worth it.

So, can you kind forum folk spec me a nice rig within my price range, bearing in mind that i do not need any optical drives and sound card (onboard sound is good enough for me)

Let the spec'ing begin!

Oooh, sorry, totally forgot about such things!

No, i will be using the keyboard, mouse, speakers, monitor etc i currently have.

I'm just looking for the main box i.e. motherboard, CPU, graphics, PSU etc

A case can also be spec'd , although its not a major issue

Hope that helps!

That was a quick mess around... Just stock cooler with CPU, imagine it'd be fine for mild oc though.

Emlyn - Looking good, but i am just wondering, would it be worth paying the £10~ extra for the 512mb graphics card? I want Hellgate London to run smoother then a baby's bottom!

I don't think that the cases are expensive on OCUK, they just tend to stock better cases. Who wants to cut their fingers whilst building? We've all done it on cheap cases.

Also, the Sonata case is actually very cheap for what you get, a PSU and a near silent case that doesn't look half bad.

If you want a £10 case from ****** then you may need some gardening gloves and hope that your decent hardware doesn't die inside that plastic mess with probably the most fluctuating of all PSUs. My advice, stick to what OCuk has or ask in the forums :)
