Hi everyone,
I currently have 2 x 16gb DDR5 5600mhz CL36 ram sticks on my Asus Rog strix Z690 F motherboard, I have noticed 65% ram usage on my windows 11 pro install whilst running msfs 2020, so I was considering adding another 2 x 16gb sticks, but this time was going to get rgb sticjs, whereas my current sticks are non rgb.
Looking at the part numbers, my sticks start with CMK, but all the RGB ones starr CMH, all the other numbers / letters are identical.
Is the difference between the k and the H to signify RGB for H varient and K for non RGB.
Thanks for any replies.

According to Corsair in this page, CM means Corsair Memory and the next letter is the line.

Which CPU do you have? The QVL doesn't have many sticks that are validated for 4 slots @ 5600 with 12th gen CPUs, but more for 13th gen CPUs.

FYI: Corsair model numbers don't include the memory chips, so kits purchased many weeks/months apart can be very different.

Sell your old kit and buy larger 2 by 32gig DIMMS.

You’re going to struggle for compatibility and will probably end up rubbing very slow speeds in 4 DIMM setup.

2 DIMM setup is easily a better choice for DDR5.

65% usage
Still leaves approximately 10gb free anyway
If you want more free
And haven't already
You could delete the hibernate file
Won't be able to hibernate obviously
But sleep still works fine anyway

Command prompt
Powercfg.exe -h off
Will free a pretty large amount

And yeah
If still want to buy more
I agree sell it
And buy 2 x 32gb kit

Ok, thanks for the replies.
I have a 12700f cpu but will be getting a 14700k hopefully very soon, motherboard is an Asus Rog strix Z690 F gaming wifi.
Haven't ever heard of the hibernate, but I literally switch on, check for updates in Windows and in the app store, switch the vr headset on launch the sim with other software fir running my flight panels, fly, switch off when I'm done, so guessing I don't need this hibernate thing anyway, thanks everyone.
