Looking to add 6Gb Ram

Hi,

I have 6GB of Corsair CM3X2G1600C9 that I am looking to make up to 12GB.

I am concerned that I am going to buy something that conflicts or doesnt play well or whatever.

I can see similar 1600 Tri channel ddr3 stuff from Corsair on the site,

will this work ok with my existing ram?

Hi, thanks for the response.

I have a i7 920 oc'd to 4(ish) by the fine folks here, on a gigabyte X58A.

I am looking for the ram for AE/Premier CS5.

Thanks for the heads up on the OC.

I was already warned I might have to run them at 1333, but I didn't figure of having to re-do the oc. Looks like ive got a bit of reading up to do on settings and whatnot.

Just wanted to add a wee note.

Ram arrived within 14 hours after order w00t!!!

I just slotted it all in and didnt change a thing in bios.... it all seems to stable enough. certainly not had any issued in Aftereffects.

So all in all a result... i hope
