Hi all,

Had my current rig now since 2018 it's an i7 8700k with a GTX 1080ti, up until now it's not had any issues but wanting to get into full 4k gaming now going forward.

I have always been an intel guy, never had AMD but it seems now the AMD CPU's are the way to go, I am looking also at doing an all white build, what would be the best combination of board, CPU and RAM and GPU?

Budget including GPU is around £3800.

Thanks all.

We're not far off getting the new 5000 series GPUs from m Nvidia I would wait and try to get a 5080 or even a 5090 which I think your budget will allow.

Keep an eye out and put in a pre order if you can then rest of the spec will be easy to put together like the 9800x3d unless you want to do that first.

You could use this as a base. The problems with white builds are the white tax (white is usually more expensive) and inconsistant white colours overall.

As Mickyflinnn wisely advised wait until the new nvidia cards are released and prices are real and hope you can get a white one when they are released. 5080 should be a good option as the 5090 will be wallet shredding but still potentially doable with your generous budget.

My basket at OcUK:
