Looking to build first computer

I'm after building a computer, which I'v never done before.. following guides it seems easy enough.

My current computer seems to be falling apart! So would anyone like to spec me a build that contains a 5.1 spdif card, for as cheap as possible.

Only use for browsing the internet, MSN, and media.

Something like this might do you, I'm not sure if the motherboard has sp/dif but you could check on the manufacturers website.

Cheers for the reply semi-pro, just had a look and the NF-M2SV doesn't have sp/dif.. is there anything else I could replace this with? Perhaps a sound card?

I've had another check and you could replace the motherboard with an OcUK JW 780G mATX motherboard, it has sp/dif listed in the features and the onboard graphics are significantly better.
