Hello everyone, I would like an opinion on what i'm trying to do here..

I am looking to build a gaming PC (mini-itx) that can use the new RTX 3080 and atm i am considering the following components:

1. Case: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/nzxt...o-and-psu-white-tempered-glass-ca-1ak-nx.html
2. MB: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...0-chipset-mini-itx-motherboard-mb-6dt-as.html
3. CPU: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/amd-...cessor-retail-100-100000281box-cp-3c6-am.html

My question is.. with these components.. will the GPU bottlenecked? is there a better CPU option for this GPU (better value for money) I was also considering the i7 10700k as an option but i'm not sure it brings that much of an advantage over the AMD one.. Also, are there any other things I should be aware of? like thermals, PSU..

I should mention that I am looking to obtain at least 140 FPS in any game at 3440 x 1440 on the highest settings possible..

Thanks

Thanks for this, I don't plan in playing at 4k but i guess the Ultra Wide 1440p is close enough.

Do you know if with this config I would be able to obtain 140 fps on ultra settings? I plan in getting a 144Hz monitor and I would like to know if it's worth investing in high refresh rate or if i should prioritise other things over this.

I don't think that's the best case for a 3080 considering the heat they're dumping out, I'd expect a considerable amount of throttling.

Don't think we're there yet for this.

Thank you for the replies, in this case I think I will wait for the 3070 review.. I'm hoping it would be a better match for the H1 case, without compromising too much on FPS
