i have around £600 - £700 pounds
all i realy do is play games and use it for genral use
i play bf2 mainly so pretty much to play that
was looking at this dont know if its any good but maybe u can advise me
AOpen XC-Cube EZ482 (Socket 939)

thanks

INFECTION :)

Im running an aopen ez482 at the moment, plays bf2 and planetside with no problems...

athlon 3000 @ 2200
1x 200gig sata
1 dvd re-writer
OcUk 7800gt
2gig Gskill
all on a 270watt psu !!! :D

nice and easy to setup, gets a little hot when you add a graphics card due to it blocking the air flow but its still dam quiet and loads me into bf2 before anyone else pretty much everytime

only downside is aopens support for these cubes is less than amazaing !

sits at 45c when idle and pretty much stays at that even while playing bf2, its a bit warm for me but then im fairly new to sff and this seems to be a fairly normal

the heatsink that comes with it is fairly good, but im sure you could squeeze something else in there if you really wanted to

might be worth asking someone with some experience building shuttles for a 600-700 quid spec to see how it compares

yeah temps between about 30 right up to high 50's are pretty normal for SFF's.

ive got an SN85G4V3 with an X800pro VIVO and 3400+ clawhammer, 1gb of gskill LE and runs BF2 nicely :), my cpu temps are between 35 - 40 but i have modded it with a 120mm fan and 80mm extractor fan.
