Hi there,

I'm seeking some help buying a laptop, if you're knowledgeable your help would be very helpful.

I'm looking to purchase a good laptop that can withstand high usage on Office and also image editing using a myriad of programmes from Adobe.

A decent CPU & Graphics card is going to be needed. I was looking at one the Ryzen 5 4500 on the Huawei Matebook but the price seems to have gone up now.

Can anyone help with a similar/better laptop to buy?

All guidance and help is greatly appreciated as my laptop is dying slowly and I need it for work.

Thanks,

John :)

At that price, yeah, you are mostly looking at an AMD based one without a discrete gpu.

As you are looking to use office and adobe, it will be hard to find a good performing machine at 500.

If you don't care about brands, just have a look at any deals at the moment which have the best CPU. Currently not a lot of stock, but:

  • ASUS VivoBook M513UA
  • HP 15s-eq1018na

if you look harder at 700+ you might find a deal on a laptop with a GPU (1660ti) as well
