looking to buy my first flash gun.

Hi all,

I see looking to purchase my first flash gun to develop my portrait work I've been been practising. I'm using a d7000

I was initially looking at the SB 400 but I'd really like a swivel feature although I cant afford a sb700 at the mo.

I'm aware sigma and other 3rd parties make them. Any recommendations? Max budget of about £120

Yongnuo 560III (or II, the III has a built in RF receiver) and a set of RF603 transceivers. That should be about £70, spend the rest on an umbrella, a swivel head and a stand. No TTL but manual flash isn't hard to get a hang of. I just bought a similar kit (no umbrella yet though) and I'm pretty happy with it.

Yongnuo is a very good option, if you want TTL the 568ex is about £115.
