Looking to buy new GFX in next two hours

Sorry to the three of you I gave you guys nothing to work on I fail lol

My budget is £200, I have an Enermax 550W PSU, and the games I play tend to be first person shooters. I've just installed Lost Planet and it doesn't run at all well.

I prefer to play at the highest resolution I can. I have a 19" CRT.

8800GTS. It will deficate from a great hight upon the 8600 series cards.

If you can spare the extra cash, the 640mb version might offer significantly better performance at higher resolutions. I'm guessing the 19" CRT will do 1600*1200? If the monitor is 1280*960 maximum, then the 320mb card is definitely the one to go for.

If you could stretch the budget a little, then THIS would be even better :D

EDIT: beat me to it, but you stretched the budget even further :D

I decided to not go out this weekend and erm, splashed on this..

Hehe, hope it's worth it!

Don't worry, it's definitely worth it. It was only 21 minutes ago you were considering the 8600 cards!

meh not worth it for £274 im afraid, any GTS will clock to those OC2 speeds without breaking a sweat!

*EDIT* your PSU will be fine

Don't worry about your PSU - should be fine.

Edit - perosnally would have gone with the leadtek for a lot less and Oced myself, but you will be happy with it :-)
