Hi All I've finally purchased my first ever Gaming PC, with me being 21 that's kind of depressing, and I was just wondering about some games to buy. I have currently got Final Fantasy XIV, Football Manager 2014 and Bioshock Inifinite but I am looking to expand this list even further. I am looking for any Action/Adventure Games, Strategy Games, MMO's and RPG's or any other decent games that anyone could recommend.

I know there is already a thread exactly like this but I have a couple of questions in with mine:

1: I've looked into purchasing Elder Scrolls Online, I already had it pre-ordered for Xbox but it seems like more of a PC thing to me, but I have had a lot of mixed reviews. Do you all believe its worth the money?

2: Are there any decent pre-orders coming up aswell?

Thanks.

Firstly, unless you absolutely and implicitly trust the developer of a game do not pre-order. Invariably the price will be much cheaper pretty much straight away and you also get the benefit of knowing what the game is like before buying (says the guy who has backed many kickstarted games).

Keep an eye on places like Humble Bundle where you can pick up some great bundles for whatever you want to pay.

Steam is your friend, well, more precisely it's your friendly local dealer who occasionally has great sales and no qualms about feeding your addiction.

GameAgent have a 75% sale on Civilisation IV and V at the moment so might be worth checking out.

Also, Goat Simulator is the be all and end all in PC gaming at the moment.

I forgot to add Civi 5 to my list, great game. Goat Simulator sounds ...... interesting :p

I tend to pre-ordering with my Xbox which is where I think that incentive comes from originally, but that's mainly because I do a lot of Xbox news watching anyway.

Intel Core i5 - 4670k @ 4.2GHz
Intel Z87 Chipset
TeamGroup Vulcan Gold 8GB 2133MHz
Samsung 120GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X 4096MB

Hope that's useful?

Try Titanfall which is great if you love fps. You can get the game plus all dlc through Origin Mexico for 28 quid.

I think it is free for another 2 days so you best be quick!

Going to wack the download on when I get in from work tonight.
Has anyone played ESO yet? Really need to hear some opinions about it, I'm a massive Skyrim and Oblivion fan so I can't really imagine it being a let down what so ever.

I've played the first Dragon Age and Origins, is Dragon Age 2 any good?

It was a poor follow up not even in the sense of following a great game's shadow but I think it was just a poor game

get witcher 2 excellent should set your heart pounding with graphics :)

Diablo III + expansion is well worth the money now with tons of content and plenty of OcUK'ers actively playing.

Guild Wars 2 can be had real cheap, great MMo with stunning visuals and great content also has NO subscription

There are also plenty of great F2P games you can try out ;-

Marvel Heroes - aRPG
Rift - MMo
Planetside 2 - FPSMMo
World of Tanks - What it says on the tin
Warframe - FPS in space/future

Indie games I have liked recently are

Banished - Survival , sim city builder Just great little game but some people are put off as there is no end game.
Castle Story - Strategy, builder, sandbox Build castles with blocks very addictive almost like your own lego set.
Prison Architect - build your own maximum security prison
Game Dev - start your own game development studio
The Swapper - Platformer
Waking Mars - Platformer

The above are great idie games which you should be able to pick up cheap in the upcoming steam sales.

Hard Reset - Cool looking cyberpunk fps
Torchlight 1&2 Diablo style clone but just as good.

Easter time are the sales you can pick up real bargains but be careful you can end up buying games you end up never playing.
