Morning all

I'm thinking of getting a gaming mouse for a beeter experience when playing FPS games... I know it can help to have a couple of extra buttons on the mouse for quicker actions like swap weapon etc but will I notice a big difference compared to a normal mouse?

Currently using a Cougar Death fire mouse and keyboard

Cheers

You will mostly notice a difference in sensor accuracy and a lack of mouse acceleration (the mouse won't move further if you move faster, unless you set it to).

For fps games I think a gaming mouse is worth it

What's your budget?
What's your hand size?
What's your grip type? (Claw, palm or fingertip)

Budget no higher than £50
Hand size (medium gloves) if that's any help
Grip type is Palm type...

I only use a mouse for FPS all others games I will use Controller

Logitech g403, big and comfy with a good sensor

Glorious ODIN, lightweight and modern with better mousefeet/cable, good sensor

dm1 fps, good colour options, cheaper, good cable, good sensor (sadly not many people stock this)

All are worth checking out and all within your budget

The razer viper is also really well reviewed but over budget

Glorious Model Know a touch over budget but worth it.

Or a G403 / G305 depending on your hand size, are in budget.

I do like the White Model O I may be able to stretch the budget ;)

The logitechs do seem like the ideal option
