Looking to get a new SSD - Sub £200

Hi,

Is the Intel 80GB X25-M still the one to be going for? It'll be mainly used for running OS with VMs etc. Any advice would be great

It's 80GB, but yes, It's still the one to get.

If you've got the budget, Intel X25MG2 (£190ish).

If you want to save a few quid and have a smaller drive (£170ish) Crucial M225.

If you don't mind running RAID0 and losing TRIM - but 80GB capacity and faster than a single Intel X25M then go for 2x Kingston SSDNow V 40GB in RAID0 (£150ish).

Hmmm thinking of getting one of these drives myself for the OS and a couple of games!

Heard lots of good things bout the intel ssd's
