Morning all!

Looking at building a gaming rig for £1600. I already have an old monitor that I can upgrade in the future. What would be the best route to go down?

Intel/DDR4/nvidia:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,609.79 (includes delivery: £11.98)

mickyflinn's spec has better CPU performance and more future upgradability, but if you prefer Intel or nvidia then it's an option. Graphics card model chosen from this review of 4070s (assuming that it will apply equally to the Ti):

would the 4070ti not be bottle necked by the CPU?

If you shop around you could get an R7 7700X cpu with a 7900XT system for around £1650. I would also look for the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE for the cpu cooler as it is excellent value at around £35. Not sold on here though so you would have to google it.
