I still have my old computer for major overclocking but I want to just test this shuttle out :D

I have a shuttle sn25p, 3800x2 cpu and crucial ballistix pc4000. Everythings at stock at the moment, as I know heat is an issue in shuttles. I mainly just want my ram at 250fsb and my cpu at stock. I am just confused a bit by the HT.

Any help appreciated, thank you :)

Hmm, you could run your cpu near stock by doing the following:

HTT is essentially the FSB. Set it to 250
Drop HTT Multiplier from Auto/5x to 4x
Drop CPU Multiplier to 8x.

HyperTransport must equal 1Ghz to be stable. 250*4=1000. Rock stable.
250 FSB * 8 multi = 2000mhz. Stock speeds.

That keeps your CPU running at it's stock 2Ghz but the ram now at PC4000. :)

Make sure you loosen the ram timings first.

I've got a 3800 in my SN25P.

I had it up to 2.6 for a while, but it's back down to 2.2 as I like having the fans on 'Ultra-low' :)
