Well I had been planning to replace my aging desktop machine (Intel Q6600, Win 7) with something a bit more powerful. The main use of this machine is photo processing (Lightroom & Photoshop), Auto-CAD, Internet use for stuff that a pain to do on an iPad or phone and Spotify.

Anyway, I am now wondering if I can replace both my desktop machine and my HP Microserver N40L with a single PC. I have recently started using Plex which the N40 is really struggling with, other than this it sits there as a file server/storage/download machine and is running Win 2012 Server.

I'm looking to get something that would be able to run Win 2012 Server and maybe Win 7 or Win 8 as a VM. I would keep the N40L to use as storage with Free Nas or something similar.

The above probably doesn't make a great deal of sense but does the following look okay? I guess my main concern (other than how possible or practical the above would be) is the PSU fitting into the Micro ATX case.
