Hi all, recently ive been having problems with my graphics card getting lots of glitches and its fairly old now so Im looking to replace it. It was also one of the first BFG 7900GTX and they had a problem with them so it had to be underclocked so it doesn't freeze (annoying).

My only worry is my power supply isnt that great and im suprised its still soldiering on, I remember seeing a lot of Hiper PSU's failing for people on here.

I dont really want to spend more than £60 on a card as i usually only play older games, i also would prefer nvidia as they are better dealing with 120hz monitors.

Could i go for an 8800GTX? 9800GT? Is it even possible for me to push the boat out for a newer card?
thanks for your help

Current Specs:
PSU: Hiper 580W (Non-modular)
Mobo: Asus P5B
CPU: C2D E8200 2.6GHZ
RAM: GeLL 2GB DDR2 800mhz

Something like a 9800GT would probably be more than fast enough for your needs by the sounds of it and PSU won't be an issue in that regard, tho I have to say I'd be getting shot of the PSU too personally.

Hey Rroff slightly off topic, regarding your 470 in SLI, do you find your bottom GPU gets very hot when gaming. I'm trying to find a better how to cool it. Running an MSI twin frozr ii on top and ZOTAC on bottom, MSI is fine, doesn't go above 65 after 3 hours of Crysis, however Zotac card is hitting 84C. I have a side fan blowing cool air onto the GPU, anything you suggest to help with cooling that bottom card?
