I currently have one of these

Coolermaster Centurion 532

And am looking to replace it with a case that has a bit better cooling, cable tidy options and if possible a cut out for cpu back plate changing. I already have an antec 300 with my other machine so would like some thing different.

The only issue is that the dimensions can't really be any bigger more importantly the height as it sits in my computer cabinet, any one have any suggestions on what i could replace it with?

Cheers in advance for any help.

sorry budget up to £80 but preferably around £50.

Hmm never looked at the HAF ones as just thought they where all fairly big, will oookat that one will need to get the tape measure out tonight as 20mm might still be to much :)

If space is that tight, maybe get the 912 and slot it into it's new home without the rubber feet... wouldn't be 20mm taller than would it :)

Unless the 20mm comment was purely case size not 'hight from surface' if it was then just ignore me lol

Yes there is only 10mm space from the top of the 532 to the keyboard tray.

I'm not sure if taking the feet off would be enough, also that would then block the bottom vent under the psu.

Maybe it's time to look for a new computer cabinet as this one is very limited for air flow and case size.

You could always go for a Coolermaster Storm Scout, the cooling is good, hiding cables is fairly decent, back of the motherboard is accessable for CPU cooler installation, tooless drives, and apparently it's exactly the same height as your current case according to the spec (495mm in height).

Also comes with 1 x 120mm fan, and 2 x 140mm fans with switchable LED lights so you can turn them all off should you not want the red colour under your table.

No the scout is no good the 532 is only 460mm high the depth is 495, but thanks any way.

It might have to be a desk upgrade after all if I want decent case, will have to work on the wife to see if I can get more space in the dinning room where i'm currently relgated to.

Edit: Hmm what about the fractal r3 it's only 440mm high, will it provide decent airflow seems to have cable management and cpu cut, but will the noise dapening keep the heat in?

Thanks c64 the k62 is still to big at 496mm.

Thanks Enigma that is a pretty nice looking case it seems to tick all the boxes except it's ferocious price tag which is a little out of my budget.

Ooof!! LOL didn't notice that colossal price!! - sorry man

Should've guessed really, Lian-li don't really do 'budget' do they lol

(I'm working on a max height of 470mm - if that's spot on then this will be too tall by about 2mm)

Thanks for those suggestions, i've decided to go down a different route have convinced my other half to let me get rid of the cabinet and get a proper desk now so i'm no longer going to be restricted height wise on a case.

Just need to find a decent desk now and then can start looking for a decent case.

Thanks for all the suggestions much appreciated.

Good plan stan!

Now you can get an Antec 1200 or a Lian-Li PC-X1000 or something equally mahoosive :) lol

Whatever you get, don't for get the pictures!!
