Looking to replace my Dell 2405FPW

I've had my Dell 2405FPW (1920 x 1200) since 2005 :eek:

and now i'm finally looking to replace it

& also if possible go to a bigger screen.

I mainly game & browse the web but would possibly like to watch movies (The 2405 is not HDCP compliant).

I've looked at 27" 1920 x 1080 TN screens, but would these make games look your viewing an xbox 360 game?

27" 2560 x 1440 IPS screens, possible input lag problems & would my GTX 680 cope ok (Mainly with World Of Tanks).

I have a budget of around £400-£500 but could maybe stretch a little further if needed.

Push to £~600 and you could run 3x Dell U2412M :cool:

I've been looking at the U2410 & the U2412M which seems to have a faster response time than the U2410.

Any reason to get the U2410 over the U2412M?

There is no reason to get the u2410 for the uses you mentioned unless you like an over-saturated picture. The u2410 is a wide gamut monitor aimed at professionals working in that colour space, the u2412m is it's cheaper standard gamut brother aimed at normal users.
