Looking to start taking some snaps

WOuld appear to be importing from China/HK and although the mark the item as gift you do run the risk of getting hit for import duty and VAT which would make it more money than from the UK like Jessops at £329.

Its a gamble as always with these things.

But good reviews overall

Although there terms and conditions arent great and there is no guarantee that a gray import will be allowable for warranty with the manufacturer. Some offer worldwide warranties, some are Europe only so beware.

look like a dodge company to me, might buy from Currys instead

Why?

There's plenty of reputable online retailers who will no doubt be better than Currys should anything go wrong.

WEX, Park Cameras, heck even Amazon.

Jessops have the same deal for £329 at the moment, with a free £50 tripod.

In that thread Greebo linked, seems like they made 5 accounts on the forum to post false feedback.

Just don't trust them based of that.

Kinda liking the D3200 for £269 on currys

would I be losing much going for a D3200 instead of the D3300?

Yes plenty of reputable ones but loads of gray box shifters from HK with what looks like UK bases with Uk numbers and registered over here.

They are the ones to avoid.

Just bought a d3300 from Currys for £329. We don't have a Jessops over here (or any other tech stores for that matter) . Got it with the 18-55 lense kit. Can't beat buying local I think because if something is wrong with it I can just take it back myself :)
