Looking to upgrade budget £1000

Hi
looking to upgrade have £1000 to spend
current parts I have
9700k
noctua nh-d15
rog Maximus XI hero
16gb ddr
7800xt hellhound
hyte y40 case
Rog strix 850w gold
2x1tb m.2 drives WD blues

Would like to keep the case,psu and GPU
any recommendations?

i play games mainly d4,wow and space marines

It may be controversial, but if you are keeping current GPU, there isn't a huge amount of gains to be had in gaming if you upgrade you CPU, Mobo and Ram, espicially in games you've listed.
Do you notice your system stuggling in any particular application?
 
It was more of a I fancy an upgrade of parts
My biggest gripe is wow most times my fps sits in the 40/50 range and dropping my gps sits at around 40% and 1 cpu core is maxed out and rest at 30%ish so would like to jump the fps

What monitor are you using?

I play D4 with a 9700K but I do have a 4070Ti and not noticed any issues

Wow does like the X3D processors

Sometimes it's nice to get the latest new and shiny, like you say though if money is a concern it doesn't make financial sense.
