Hi guys i'm by no means a pc expert but i've been looking to upgrade my card for a while now and have no idea whats good and what isn't.

Currently have a AMD Radeon HD 7800 series card, as you can tell it's had its day and is quite old, i have a Gigabyte mobo, i5 3750k, 8gb ram. I wouldn't mind sticking with AMD as i haven't had any problems plus i hear you can get more for your money unless going for 970/980's, Looking to spend no more than £200.

Any suggestions are helpful,

thanks. :)

I know you don't want to go over 200 but for 240 you can get a 390 on this week special, I would do that for 40 over budget.

you need 8 and 6 pin connectors and what power supply you got?.

Power supply is 500w or maybe 650w not sure, will check before ordering anything though.

Are you referring to the powercolor 390? If you think it's worth the extra 40 i'll drop the extra 40 on it compared to others.

+1 more for the 390. Get the sapphire if you can, it has the best cooler, although they are all decent apart from the horrific ASUS ones.
