Hi,
I've not really kept up with all the latest graphics card technology recently, but feel my 8800GTX might be knocking on a bit. So, does anyone have any recommendations for a new graphics card please. Cost doesn't really matter, but I would like to see some noticable performance increase if possible, and I don't really want to have to think about upgrading anything else in my system just yet.
My current system: Asus P5K WS, Intel Q6600, 4gb RAM, XFX 8800GTX, Corsair HX 620W PSU. Also got a Dell 24" monitor so looking to do my gaming at 1920x1200.
I also noticed some of the latest cards seem to be PCI-E 2.0, will these cards run in my motherboard ok ?
The two card I'm looking at are:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-067-EA
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-183-SP
I honestly have no idea if these can even work with my current PC
Sorry for all the questions, it's just been a while since I checked out GPU's and it's amazing how quickly everything changed. Any help most gratefully received
