looking to upgrade from my olde rtx3080

Hi all atm my system is a 10900k with 64 gb 3600 ddr4 ram a cosair 150 360 aio lcd cooler a corsair rm 850x psu and 2 2tb m2 970 evo plus ssds in a 5000x rgb case im toying with getting the rtx4080 suprim x . is that a good choice for my system.

What resolution ? 4080 is really badly priced it's like the worst and suprim isn't gonna be cheap might as well put more in and get the 4090 FE

And depending on games and resolution CPU could end up bottlenecking it

I'd make the 3080 last me til the next gen next year tbh, pricing is terrible after 4070 (and even that is a £550/560 limit for me) and maybe the 7900XT if yr an AMD fan.

I have 3080 myself and play at 1440p the upgrade options are terrible I'll be keeping it and wait What's available next gen

Only ones worth the uplift to me are 4080/7900xtx but I ain't entertaining what they want for them I refuse

I'd feel like getting robbed literally paying double for what I paid for 3080

Either blow the budget on a 4090, pick up a 7900XT for £750 or sit out till next gen which is only just over a year away now.
