I'm interested in getting an overclocked bundle to upgrade my current PC, but could do with some advice on which to get and if my current tower and power supply are compatible.

The main game I play at the moment is The Old Republic, and from what I've read an i5 processor is the best reasonably priced processor to run it. this and this seem to be the most affordable, is there a big difference between them? Are there any others at similar prices which are better? And most importantly are they alright just go in my current PC:

OCZ StealthXStream 600w Silent SLI Ready ATX2
Antec Nine Hundred case
Geforce 460 GTX
2 SATA HDs and an SSD

And the processor and motherboard I'd be replacing are:

Abit IP35 Pro
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600
Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 ram

Any help & advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

I think the processor you have got is pretty capable. I would maybe recommend waiting until the new i5 comes out this year as it's a new socket, so should you wish to upgrade the i5 haswell in 2 or 3 years time, you can do without changing the motherboard.

However, both of those bundles would be great for you. If it were me personally, I would wait until the new processor is out.

Ok lets say I'm dead set on getting the upgrade now and not waiting 6 months. Is there a big difference between the i5 2500K and the i5 3570K?

In terms of actual performance, not really.

But you might as well go for the 3570K as it supports PCIE3. (Unless you can get the 2500K for a significantly cheaper price.)
