Looking to upgrade my PC need help

Hi guys I need some suggestion's On what motherboard to get when I upgrade my PC. At the moment I have:

PC Spec's

i5 2500k @ 4.2GHz
Asus P8Z77-V LX
EVGA GTX 780 Ti
Corsair Vengeance 16GB RAM
Windows 7 64bit
1TB Samsung Evo SSD
2TB Hard-drive

Upgrading to a i5 4670k just wanting suggestion's on what motherboard would you recommend.

You seem to have a working PC. Have you considered waiting a bit for the Devil's Canyon Haswell refresh i5-4690K?

You won't see any performance increase going from your current cpu to Haswell. You might get a bit more of an overclock on DC but I don't think it's worth the outlay.

if you wanna upgrade then just swap out the cpu for a 2600k or 2700k ? (purely for hyperthreading)

Only wanting to upgrade because I have had it well over 2 and a half years

you can if you want but tbh you wouldn't gain much,plus the newer chips run hotter than sandy

I know the newer chips run hotter. I am only going to be overclocking around 4.2-4.4GHz. Just wanting to know what motherboards are good for the Haswell chipset

you might aswell go z97

the rog boards or gigabyte gaming or z97x-force oc

(id still say stay as you are till broadwell cpu or skylake)

I wouldn't really look to change anything else, it's a perfectly adequate gaming machine. My 2500k is solid.
