Hey all hope your well I currently run a AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with a 5500xt Rog strix(very old system). I do a lot of sim racing and some cod. I am looking at building a Intel i5 13600k 13th gen build just needing advice or point me In the right direction what parts won't bottleneck but get the most out of the CPU I also always used AMD GPUs . I use a 1080p 144hz monitor but dip into 1440p. Thankyou

If your on about my plan build it will be

Intel i5 13600k 13th gen
Powercolour 7900xt or 6950xt
MSI Z790 tomahawk ddr5
32gb Kingston fury renegade ddr5
Corsair force MP600 PROXT 1tb
Corsair rmx 850w 80plus gold

No I was talking about your current pc as it may be easier and cheaper to upgrade.

Something like a 5800x3d CPU would be a drop in upgrade with a bios update.

I didn't want a complete new system but didn't want to go am5 with issues it's having so I came hear for advice see what other thoughts was
Your motherboard has 2 X m2 slots 1 runs at pcie 3 X 4 and the other is s an m2 SSD which is slower and maxes out at 500 mbs speed. Things to note if you stick with it

Keep pc upgrade below.

5800x3d
7900xt
New psu
New CPU cooler if required.
M2 if needed.

What case and CPU cooler do you have ?

Or go the intel build with the parts you picked but if not overclocking drop to B760 tomahawk .

6950xt gfx isn't a bad option for £150 less than a 7900xt - last gen but as fast in most things - can be got at £568-£599 currently. For games as said above 58003dx is way to go.

Defiantly save some cash and get the 5800x3d for a straight swap in your current mobo with a bios update for safety. If your gaming at 1440p 144hz then i would say 7900xt would be great for at least another 3-5 years. If you plan to stay at 1080p 144hz then go for the 6950xt.
