Looking to upgrade next year from an I7 4790k

I've had this system for around about 5 years(?) and it's always been at 4.8ghz with a 2600mhz memory overclock, however there's a few games where it is lacking such as Battlefield 2042 and Cyberpunk. So the upgrade itch is getting worse

I've been thinking of going second hand and picking up a Ryzon for a change, however are prices likely to come down anytime soon?

the upgrade you want is the intel 12 series and wait till after christmas for the budget mobos coming. at the moment there isnt any only 200 quid boards. should be some 100 quid boards then. which makes it far better.

I've paid second hand for a 10900K/32GB DDR4 via OCUK forums so I'm hoping that arrives just after Christmas! Should be a good upgrade from my I7, nothing else really took my fancy!
