Budget for this is around £100-200

You've got a high end PC if you really need to splash the cash a second 780 would be my choice.

Your brothers PC is decent too, would upgrade the GPU if anything.

Any suggestions on the GPU? What would be the equivalent of a 580 today on the cheap?

Possibly R9 290X/GTX 780Ti should the need be there for a very high end card
