So my current build is:

CPU: Intel Core i7 2600
Motherboard: Foxconn H67MP-S/-V/H67MP
Memory: 6GB,Samsung 1333mhz DDR3 M378B5773CH0-CH9
GPU: MSI R9 290
PSU: SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W "80 Plus Gold"
Monitor: Samsung 4K UHD UE590 27"

I am a few generations behind now with my CPU as the i7 2600 is pretty old.. and my motherboard is a pile of crap with a broken 3.5mm audio jack aswell as USB 2.0 along with slow ass Ram that is hardly upgradable.. Im looking to switch to AMD as i think ill get more bang for buck as i like to do mild video editing and the odd bit of gaming.. My graphics card im happy with for the time being, Im getting (amazingly) 60fps at "normal" settings in 4k on GTA5 and a few other games like CSGO, world of warcraft etc at very playable framerates also at 4k. The only drawback for me atm is memory and my motherboard. Would the following be good enough for me to justify an upgrade?

Thanks for any advice.

Decent 1155 boards aren't that common but they are about.

Also that CPU has loony power reqs and that motherboard doesn't support it.

You would want a better mobo than that for the 9590. I am running a 8320 @ 4.6 on one but that really is as far as I could push it.

As previously mentioned, keep the 2600, theres not enough improvement to justify the upgrade.
