Hi all,

Currently have 5870, it still does what i need it to do as i am mostly playing titles that work well with it, but its getting old now. With new gen coming out soon i am hoping there will be deals to be had on current gen.

What would be decent upgrade either amd or Nvidia (slight preference to amd though) that will work well with my Intel Core i5-2500K clocked to 4GhZ and 24" single monitor.

Cheers gents

Cheers gents, 7950 is what i was looking into, fits into my budget too, anything worth considering in the green camp?

I did not have nvidia card for years, i think my last nvidia card was 5600 (and was truly awful lol)

I'm not sure how efficient the cooler is on this, but this would be one I'd consider. I'm not sure if it's voltage locked with regard to overclocking :

This one has a better cooler; I don't think it's locked :

This would probably be my choice for a 670 if I was buying :

There are one or two 'reasonably' priced 660ti's as well, in case your interested.
