I am trying to find a good Motherboard for a friend for an i5:

If you're planning on getting a 'non K' chip, a lil extra ££ would get you a Xeon, hyper threading / more cache. No crappy IGPU either..

The Xeon 1230v3 is great value for money. performance like 4770K just with no overclocking and no graphics. Basically i7 performance for i5 price.

You can pick up the 1230v3 for £185.
