Looking to upgrade

I have £1200 burning a hole in my back pocket and want to blow it all on my PC

My current set up is:

MSI Z97 Gaming 7 Intel LGA1150 Z97
Intel Core i7 4790K
32GB 2300 Corsair Platinum Dominator DDR3 ram
EVGA GTX 780 6GB
1 x 1TB SSD 1x60GB SSD (windows) 2 x 1TB HHD
Corsair H100i CPU cooler
Coolmaster HAF-X Case
K95 RGB and M65 RGB Keyboard + Mouse
HansG 27" Monitor (getting a bit old now)

Not really sure where to start and what to upgrade the only thing I want to do is play Witcher 3 on ultra @ 1440p with a solid FPS

if i was you i would save the money as your PC specs seem fine.

the only thing i would slightly consider upgrading is the gpu to a 980 but even then you will loose 2gb of vram and don't think you would see much of a improvement that would warrant the cost of the 980 or get a new monitor

Nothing worth buying apart from maybe a newer monitor if yours is really ol or a newer faster gfx card (AMD 300 series due in a month)

Gsync if you stay with Nvidia or Freesync if you switch to AMD.

There are lots of new monitors shown at CES in January.

It maybe easier for you to go look at show coverage videos or news stories to see whats coming.

As for the core parts of your system, nothing really worth changing in it. Personally id hold out for a bit to see what new gpu's are like.
