hi im looking to upgrade my current specs are

i7 4770k
asus z87 pro
corsair dominator platinum 8gb 1600
corsair h100i + link and light kit
gigabyte gtx 670
benq g2420 monitor

so looking to upgrade graphics to 970 or 980 or would that be overkill and monitor 1440 and memory aswell, so looking to spend around the £900 pound mark, or any other ideas would be great
 
Hi.

All you need is a better GFX card and a SSD if you dont have one.

What case+PSU do you have?

Is your CPU overclocked?

Got a nice keyboard+mouse?
 
i have a samsung 256 pro and a corsair 120ls
i have a custom desk that i built myself and yes it is overclocked
and i have a corsair rm750 psu so not sure if i would need to upgrade
 
PSU is fine.

All you need then is a better GFX card and if you want a new screen go for a 1440P or 144Hz screen/Gsync etc.
 
You need SLI 980 or a titanX for 4K

Or nvidia will have a 980ti and AMD are releasing 300 series next month.

thanks so if i went for a 980 it wouldnt be overkill and ifso what one?

think the 27" might be to big for my desk what about these to

Asus PB258Q 25" AH-IPS WQHD Monitor
