Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade but in need of suggestions, I just feel like my PC is missing a little umpf!I currently have

Z77 3dh mobo
i5 3570k cpu with h60
gtx 670
8 gig memory - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...l-channel-kit-cmx4gx3m2a1600c9-my-203-cs.html
win 10 64 bit

I do however get low memory warning with playing games, and I don't know some just feel jerky, is there anything anyone can suggest I should change.

I'm also open to getting a good case as well as the one I have is pretty old, so a future proof one of those would be cool! thanks a lot!

If you play games you need a bigger gfx card.

What case+PSU do you have? monitor resolution? budget?

Hi thanks for such a quick response,

CX750M PSU
Trying to find the case name but it was the one that came with 'Titan Exodus" Intel Core i5 760 2.80GHz @ 4.00GHz Quad Core DDR3 System
FS-252-OK' a few years ago

Just used google, the case is Antec 300 Gaming Case

Ensure you allow Windows to manage the pagefile size, that may help with your out of memory errors.

And Stulid is right - a new GPU and maybe another 8gb RAM (depending on your usage) and you'll be good to go. Oh, and obviously an SSD if you don't have one already.

Yeah I have antec 300 guys, and I've jsut changed the page file for w10 to system managed, and also I do already have an SSd, apologies forgot to add that on.

Is it worth getting a different case, or should I just stick with what I've got, get a new GPU, when yo usay more memory, do you mean more of the same?(XMS3)?

Get a new case, the antec 300 cant take some of the longer cards as the HDD rack is fixed in place and CPU cooler fitment is restrictive too.

£60 gets - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phan...i-tower-case-with-window-black-ca-031-pt.html

£52 - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phanteks-eclipse-p400-midi-tower-case-black-window-ca-041-pt.html - no external drive bays.

Was considering getting a HAF X coolermaster as a friend raves about them, but if these cheaper ones do the job maybe I should opt for that

HAF X is ancient now (2010 sometime).

Either of those will take the H60, if your going to pull it all apart and dust it off then you will want new thermal paste to re-attach the H60.

Yeah thing is Stu, I don't rate the H60, I think it's lack luster and would like to upgrade

Well the Phanteks Enthoo Pro will take a larger 240/280mm in the roof (not sure if you can keep optical drive if you need one.

The Phanteks P400 it goes in the front.

Fractal Define S is another good one for radiator fitment as long as you dont need an optical drive.

Thanks Stulid, Enthoo Pro I think it is, optical HDD is not a necessity and externals are always an option, I don't suppose you have a suggest on a cheapish, but upgrade in quality on the H60?

Yeah just to clarify I already have the 3570k from when it first came out, willing to upgrade but only if it offers big increase as I can obviously still OC the 3570k

No need to change CPU, that would also require a new board.

That AIO does fit in the case, goes in the roof.
