Apparently, the new release of iOS will let you use your iPhone as a hub to enable 3 or 4 other devices to use the connection... Can't really think of a major use, especially as most devices have wifi / 3g etc... But if the yanks are doing it...

I'm a bit think... I'm guessing this is MiFi?? A phrase I only heard after watching the iPhone 4 keynote...

Is that not just tethering which has been about for a while?

It's just the wireless hotspot feature that android users rave about, and which jailbreakers have had for ages. The verizon iPhone runs iOS 4.2.5 so it looks like we'll all get it at some point. There are screenshots of the hotspot dialogue box floating around the net atm. I know o2 won't be too pleased upon hearing about this as it'll make their tethering packages useless.

I've only just got my mifi!

Mifi's way quicker than o2 3G though and cheap.
